Dear All,

It’s raining like you wouldn’t believe today. Tuesday was 15°, Wednesday was 36° and today is 12° and wet, wet, wet. No wonder everyone is coming down ill.

Today wasn’t much better at work.  The only problem is if I leave, I won’t be able to communicate via email and that will be more expensive, maybe we’ll have to revert to that ancient art of letter writing!  What is that, do you remember how to do it, I am having difficulty remembering.

Well gotta go. Lots of love.

Mum/Nana xxxxoooo

PS  Tell Brady that Nana loves her very much and each day when she gets home, the first thing she sees on the hall table is Brady’s photo smiling at her and it makes her feel good.

Dear S,

Well, I have done it. I have resigned.  There has been a lot going on and I have decided that I don’t need all the hassle for around $150 a week after tax for a 38 hour week.  Pam is quite sure I can get some temp work for around $15 per hour and I can do it when I want to. If I want to. I want to do my own thing now and not be bound by going to work 5 days a week.  I can live, might have to curb my spending a bit, but that won’t hurt me.  Perhaps I can become self sufficient and grown my own veggies etc, spin my own wool and make my own clothes.  I leave work on the 1st of March. J is boggle eyed about it and is concerned that it is a very big step, but I feel that a weight has been lifted from me and I am really pleased about it.

I have been finding that I just don’t have the energy to do my craft etc after work and I really miss that.  I started lead lighting last night, so that is something different – might do a window for my bathroom.

I am going to have to find an internet provider and have it connected at home so we can keep emailing.

Lots of love to you all and big hugs and kisses for Brady the Beautiful.

Fancy my Brady getting another tooth, am pleased to see she is wearing the red jacket I sent her.

Just wanted to let you know your Aunty Tia has left Uncle Russ – she is staying with a friend. She asked him to leave for 3 months to get himself together and give up drinking and get a job, but he said he couldn’t leave (with a bottle of scotch in his hand) because his parents were too old to explain a new phone number to!!

So I told Tia to ring them up and tell them why she has a new phone number! I think he will drink himself into oblivion, which is a shame, because he is basically a nice person and quite intelligent too. However, the grog seems to be in his genes, with his father and brother both being heavy drinkers tool  Aunty Tia seems to be comfortable with her choice and your cousins, Louise and Darren were OK about it. Louise has thought for a long time that Tia should leaved.  Russ coped with Louise losing the baby by being drunk all the time.

Well that’s enough family bombshells for a while, will contact you tomorrow.  Big hugs and kisses for my baby and love to you and Jack.
